The Eagle City Winery and Vineyard is located in Hardin County, alongside the Iowa River on the Iowa River Greenbelt Scenic Route. From 1850-1900, a combination gristmill and sawmill was located here which was powered by a waterfall from a 9-foot dam. A small settlement grew up around the mill known as Eagle City.

Located in southeastern Dallas County, Penoach Vineyard and Winery borders the scenic Raccoon River Valley just north of Adel. Penoach is the Indian name given to Adel by its earliest settlers in 1837. The views from the vineyard overlook the neighboring agrarian landscape and the river valley. Our location is distinguished by the red brick barn which is home to our winery and the unique round clay block corncrib, both built as part of the original 1900's farmstead.

We are a family owned winery that strives to be a great destination for all types of wine lovers. Live music events on Sunday afternoons are a relaxing way to enjoy the day. We are the only winery in Iowa to make Ice Wine, where we leave the Vidal Blanc grapes on the vine until the first freeze of the year.
